Wine Tasting and Tour of the Guerila Wine Cellar

We invite you to visit the modern and unique Guerila wine cellar in the Vipava Valley, where visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the valley and the slopes of Nanos, Čaven, and the Trnovo Plateau.

Guerila is a biodynamic estate in Planina near Ajdovščina, born from the dreams, passion, and determination of its founder, Zmagoslav Petrič, who built this new cellar at the top of the village. The facility features a highly modern architectural design spanning four levels. The first and second levels are dedicated to tourism, while the lower two house a state-of-the-art wine cellar. All who appreciate biodynamic viticulture are welcome to a guided tour of the cellar and vineyards, offering an excellent insight into biodynamic farming methods and the Guerila philosophy.

Their vineyards are planted mostly with local varieties and are located on the southern slopes of the Vipava hills, bordering the Karst region. All vineyards are terraced, using the single Guyot training system. During pruning, great care is taken to avoid large cuts, allowing the vine's sap to flow freely and maintaining its vitality.
