Dvojni večer: Poetically Uncorrect + Claire Lefèvre: Ekskurzija lezb
Tickets
Description
The concert Poetically Uncorrect moves artistically somewhere between self-reflective punk, gentle intimate soundscapes, chaotic indulgences, the search for beauty in rough drafts, passionate melodies of life with endless endings, trashy synthesizer pulses, and playing on a water bottle. In short, the ensemble Poetically Uncorrect is genre-incorrect.
The ensemble Poetically Uncorrect (SI) was born out of the collaboration, friendship, love and quarrels of three creative people – Gergely Dózse from Hungary, Maja Dekleva Lapajne from Slovenia and Simeon Huzun from the world of nomadism. The three come from the world of clowning, dance and theater, but their foray into music creates a wonderfully fragile event that is coyly described as a concert.
***
In Dyke Hike Claire Lefèvre pitches the idea for the perfect new queer dating show, revealing intimate insights into the performer’s life. In this stand-up comedy skit, she pits professional nature dykes with feckless urban gays, tackling stereotypes, her reality TV addiction and her pathological fear of the great outdoors, bringing the camp back to camping!
Claire Lefèvre (AT) is a choreographer and writer, who intertwines poetics with politics and stand-up with queer feminist theory. She has also dabbled in writing reviews, grant proposals and ghostwriting, mostly because of the spectral allure of the job title. She is passionate about punctual e-mail communication and calls out abusive curators at press conferences and reality TV shows.
Performance in English, consecutive translation.
