16. edicija mednarodnega festivala elektronske glasbe in tranzitornih umetnosti SONICA prinaša pester izbor izvajalk in izvajalcev, ki so v zadnjem času močno zaznamovali dogajanje na področju elektronske in eksperimentalne glasbe ter zvočne umetnosti. 

Napovedujemo slovensko premiero Nicolása Jaara, enega največjih imen elektronske glasbe 21. stoletja! Na odru Katedrale bo Nicolás predstavil nov projekt Jaar, ki ga opisuje kot »improviziran nastop za bas klarinet in elektroniko«.

Napovedujemo tudi gostovanje vizionarskega vietnamskega kolektiva Rắn Cạp Đuôi in premierno izvedbo nove plošče domačega multiinstrumentalista Iztoka Korena!

The 16th edition of the international festival of electronic music and transitory art SONICA brings a diverse selection of artists who have made a significant impact on the field of electronic and experimental music in recent years. 

We are excited to announce the Slovenian debut of Nicolás Jaar, one of the biggest names in electronic music of the 21st century! At SONICA 2024, he will present his new improvised performance for processed bass clarinet and electronics under the name Jaar.

We’re also announcing the Slovenian debut of the critically acclaimed Vietnamese collective Rắn Cạp Đuôi and the premiere of Slovenian multiinstrumentalist Iztok Koren’s new album.
