V klet na Kersnikovi se po dolgem času spet vrača kolektiv Nimaš Izbire, ki je svojo pot začel prav na tem plesišču! V zadnjih letih so člani kolektiva utrdili svoje ime med ljubljanskimi underground rave glavami z hostanjem zloglasne serijalke Štrom, ustaljene po klubovju Metelkove. Tokrat ekipa Nimaš Izbire v Štirko prinaša klubski večer onkraj pričakovanj, z mednarodnimi gosti ki kljubujejo žanrski omejenosti in mainstream trendom klubske kulture.

V veselje nam je premierno pri nas predstaviti nizozemskega producenta, dja in interdisciplinarnega umetnika Torusa, kateri se lahko v zadnjih nekaj letih pohvali z nastopi in izdajami pri kultnem berlinskem Tresor klubu in založbi. Kljub temu, da v svoji producentski poti raziskuje zvočna obzorja melanholije ambientalne glasbe, pa gre v njegovih dj setih pričakovati ključno drugačen, maksimalističen pristop, ki se poigrava z demontiranjem in samosvojim ponovnim sestavljanjem evforičnega hard-trancea, hardcore vragolij, popularnih euro-pop hitčin in post-klubskih eksperimentov…

Obeta se še ena klubska poslastica: prav tako prvič na naša tla iz Berlina prihaja Souci, producentak in djka srbskih korenin, ki se je z selitvijo v evropsko alter prestolnico vzpostavila kot ena izmed ustanoviteljic in vodji Raiders Records - mlade, a izjemno priznane underground elektronske založbe, posvečene sodobnem ghetto tech, umazanem bass in elektro zvoku, ter ustvarjanju prostora in opolnomočenju glasu oseb iz marginalnih skupnosti. V svojih setih tako kot napetih produkcijah jo navdihujejo energija hardcore scene, nabrušen footwork ter polomljeni beati jungla.

Brez domače ekipe seveda ne gre: na main flooru se bosta headlinerjem pridružila turbo-napajan dvojec The BPM Police, iskana noviteta na ljubljanski klubski sceni, ki se kljub svojemu imenu ne boji pohoditi pedalko do kraja, medtem ko strežeta z navitim tehnom, trdimi trance ritmi in mnogimi nagajivimi vokali vmes. Eklektični okus gostiteljskega kolektiva pa bo sejal gabi98, rezident in en izmed kuratorjev ekipe Nimaš Izbire, kateri v svojih nepredvidljivih setih prečesava sprano internetno klubsko kulturo, ritme svetovnega rave podatlja in bass/hardcore himne. Večer bo osvetljeval in-house vj starešina Kasko Karambol, specialist intermedijskih inštalacij in oblikovanje ter poznavalec rezvedrilnih slikic.

After a long time, the Nimaš Izbire collective, which started its journey on this very dancefloor, is returning to the basement on Kersnikova Street! In recent years, the members of the collective made a name for themselves among Ljubljana's underground rave heads by hosting the infamous series Štrom, a staple on the Metelkova club scene by now. This time, the Nimaš Izbire team brings a club night defying expectations, with international guests who cross genre constraints and mainstream trends in the club culture.

We’re in for another first-time treat: coming from Berlin is Souci, a producer and DJ of Serbian roots, who, after moving to Europe's alt-capital, has established herself as one of the founders and heads of Raiders Records - a young but highly acclaimed underground electronic label, dedicated to contemporary ghetto tech, dirty bass and electro sounds, as well as creating space and empowering the voices of people from marginalised communities. Her sets and productions are inspired by the energy of the hardcore scene, intricate footwork and jungle breakbeats.

Of course, there's no going without the home team: the headliners will be joined on the main floor by turbo-charged duo The BPM Police, a sought-after novelty on the Ljubljana club scene who, despite their name, aren't afraid floor the pedal while serving playful techno, hard trance and plenty of mischievous vocals in between. The eclectic taste of the host collective will be sown by gabi98, resident and one of the curators of the Nimaš Izbire crew, ranging from washed-up internet club culture, rhythms of the world's rave underground all the way to bass/hardcore anthems in his sets. The evening will be illuminated by in-house VJ elder Kasko Karambol, intermedia design and installation specialist, also a connoisseur of funee pictures.
