Francoski vizionar eksperimentalne glasbe Aho Ssan in trenutno en najvznemirljivejših predstavnikov ambientalne glasbe bo predstavil aktualni projekt 'Rhizomes', ki bo poleti izšel pri založbi Other People svetovno priznanega glasbenika in producenta Nicolasa Jaara. Trio, ki ga sestavljajo glasbenici Aleksandra Bajde in Isabella Forciniti ter vizualna umetnica Uršula Berlot, bo premierno izvedel novo skupno delo – potopitveni performans, ki je nastal po naročilu festivala SONICA. Mladi hrvaški producent in umetnostni zgodovinar N/OBE pa bo na festivalu premierno predstavil svoj prihajajoči debitantski album 'Monuments', preplet avantgardne klubske glasbe, zvočne umetnosti in burne zgodovine nekdanje skupne države, ki obravnava dediščino modernističnih revolucionarnih spomenikov.

The third day of the festival of contemporary electronic music and transitory art SONICA 2023 brings an evening dedicated to premieres. The French experimental musician Aho Ssan, one of the foremost representatives of contemporary ambient music, will present his latest project 'Rhizomes', soon to be released on Nicolas Jaar’s Other People label. The trio consisting of musicians Aleksandra Bajde and Isabella Forciniti and visual artist Uršula Berlot will premiere their immersive performance commissioned by SONICA, while the young Croatian producer and art historian N/OBE will premiere his upcoming debut album 'Monuments', a sprawling chronicle of Yugoslavia’s rise and fall reimagined through the visuals and semantics of its world-famous modernist monuments to the Partisan revolution.
